MD- MBAWestern Michigan University Homer Stryker M. D. School of Medicine and Western Michigan University’s Haworth College of Business offer a five- year program leading to the MD degree and the MBA degree with a concentration in healthcare. Prerequisite Requirements. Applicants for the MD – MBA dual degree program must meet all admissions requirements and standards of the medical school for the MD degree, and all admissions requirements and standards of the WMU Haworth College of Business for the MBA degree. Applicants must fulfill the prerequisite course requirements for the MD degree and also for the MBA degree. The business core prerequisite course requirements may be waived for students who have a bachelor’s degree in business administration or have completed relevant course work. These courses are available as online courses through WMU and if necessary may be taken as an undergraduate in the year before matriculation to the MD – MBA dual degree program.
